About Us

Bakery Story is a family-owned Asian bakery started by Korean Americans, built on sharing comfort, culture, and homemade pastries.

 

Our story began in 2020 in Chicago, where our mom and head baker, Logie Park, baked her first batch of scones. What started as a hobby quickly turned into selling at local farmers markets. After moving to North Carolina, we started over with just four kinds of scones, one table, and two chairs at the State Farmers Market. One customer at a time, Bakery Story began to grow.

 

Today, we offer a mix of savory and sweet pastries, from kimchi croquettes and bulgogi mozzarella buns to cream-filled donuts and seasonal favorites. Along the way, we've created signature items like the Logie Donut, named after our mom, and continue to add new recipes inspired by our community.

Everything we make is baked from scratch, and as a family, we're involved in every step. More than anything, Bakery Story is about making good food and creating a place where people feel welcome. Whether you're stopping by for the first time or picking up your usual favorite, we're always happy to have you.
